About this picture
This puzzle shows a freshly baked blueberry muffin in the middle of the picture. It sits on a sheet of brown paper. The top is golden and crumbly, with bits of sugar and dark blue berries pushed into it. Some berries have burst, and purple juice runs down the side. More muffins sit behind it, in the same kind of paper cups. A few whole blueberries lie on the wooden table, and small crumbs are scattered around.
The colours are warm and soft. Brown, tan and orange fill most of the scene. A rust red cloth sits at the back on the left. Dry orange and red autumn leaves lie on the wood. The light is soft and comes from the side, so the scene feels calm and cosy. A cooling rack and a pale mug are at the edges.
How to play
Choose how many pieces you want, then press Play. Drag a piece with your mouse or your finger. When it comes close to its neighbour, the two pieces click together.
Many players start with the edges: "Edges only" shows just the border pieces. "Preview" shows the whole picture, and "Ghost" puts a soft copy of it under the board. Your game saves by itself, so you can stop and come back later. There is no rush: take your time.
Tips
- Start with the dark blue berries, since they are easy to spot and give good anchor points.
- Work on the brown paper cups and the wooden table edges next, because they have clear straight lines.
- Save the soft orange and tan crumbly areas for last, since many pieces look alike.
