Sudoku

This page holds free sudoku puzzles for the coffee break. Each puzzle is a classic 9 by 9 grid. Every puzzle has exactly one solution, so you never need to guess. You can choose from four levels, from Easy to Expert, and you can also play the daily sudoku. The daily sudoku is the same grid for everyone each day, so you can share the day's puzzle with friends. The numbers and the quiet layout keep the screen calm. You work step by step, and each small win feels good. Take five minutes or take longer, the choice is yours. Play on your phone or on your computer, whenever you have a short break.

Each row, each column and each 3 by 3 box must hold the numbers 1 to 9 once. Fill every empty cell so that no number repeats in a row, column or box. Use the clues you see to find the next number. Tap a cell, then tap a number to place it. Use notes to write small candidate numbers in a cell when you are not sure. Undo, erase and highlights help you move slowly and safely. Turn on Show mistakes if you want to see wrong numbers. Use Hint, Check my grid or Auto notes when you need some help.

Start with Easy if you are new, and move up when you feel ready. Scan one row, column or box at a time and look for the only place a number can go. Use notes for hard cells, and remove a note when you rule it out. If you feel stuck, take a short break and come back with fresh eyes.
