About this picture
A wooden chair sits on a snowy porch in the early morning or evening. A thick knitted blanket is draped over the back and seat. It has red, dark green and cream patterns, with long fringe that hangs down over the edge of the seat. Behind the chair, a wooden railing is covered with snow. Green branches with small warm lights are tied along the railing.
The sky glows soft pink and orange as the sun rises or sets behind tall snowy pine and birch trees. The snow on the ground is white and calm. On the right, an old metal lantern with a lit flame sits on the wooden deck. The whole scene feels quiet, cosy and peaceful.
How to play
Choose how many pieces you want, then press Play. Drag a piece with your mouse or your finger. When it comes close to its neighbour, the two pieces click together.
Many players start with the edges: "Edges only" shows just the border pieces. "Preview" shows the whole picture, and "Ghost" puts a soft copy of it under the board. Your game saves by itself, so you can stop and come back later. There is no rush: take your time.
Tips
- Start with the warm red and green blanket, since its strong colours stand out from the rest.
- Begin the edges with the wooden railing and the deck boards, which have clear straight lines.
- Work on the sky and the snowy ground together, as their soft pale colours can be grouped by tone.
