About this picture
This picture shows a group of small purple irises growing along the edge of a pond. The flowers have deep violet petals with thin yellow and white markings near the center. Their long green stems stand in frosty ground.
Behind the flowers, the water is calm and shiny. The low sun is sitting in the trees, and it makes a soft golden light on the water and the bare branches. Dry reeds and brown leaves lie near the rocks, and some of the grass has a thin white frost. The mood is quiet and cold, but the purple flowers add a bright spot of color.
How to play
Choose how many pieces you want, then press Play. Drag a piece with your mouse or your finger. When it comes close to its neighbour, the two pieces click together.
Many players start with the edges: "Edges only" shows just the border pieces. "Preview" shows the whole picture, and "Ghost" puts a soft copy of it under the board. Your game saves by itself, so you can stop and come back later. There is no rush: take your time.
Tips
- Start with the purple irises in the front, since their deep color is easy to spot.
- Look for the golden light on the water to find pieces with warm orange and pink tones.
- Save the dry grass and brown rocks for last, because many of these pieces look alike.
