About this picture
This picture shows a plate of fish and chips on a wooden table. Two pieces of golden battered fish sit on pale paper. Beside them are thick chips, some with little flakes of salt on top. There are two small bowls, one with bright green mushy peas and one with creamy tartare sauce with small bits in it. A wedge of lemon rests on the paper.
The colours are warm. The fish and chips are golden brown, the peas are bright green, and the wooden table is dark brown. Behind the plate, soft orange and yellow leaves blur in the background. Some dry brown leaves lie on the left side of the table. A tartan cloth and a fork and knife sit on the right. The light is soft and calm, and a little steam rises from the food.
How to play
Choose how many pieces you want, then press Play. Drag a piece with your mouse or your finger. When it comes close to its neighbour, the two pieces click together.
Many players start with the edges: "Edges only" shows just the border pieces. "Preview" shows the whole picture, and "Ghost" puts a soft copy of it under the board. Your game saves by itself, so you can stop and come back later. There is no rush: take your time.
Tips
- Start with the golden fish in the middle, since its colour is easy to spot.
- Find the bright green peas first, then match the smaller pieces around the bowls.
- Work on the blurry orange background at the top left, and keep the chips for later.
