The Star layout has 112 tiles, set out in the shape of a star. It is a calm choice for a coffee break. The tiles fill the screen in a clear pattern, so you can see the whole shape at once. Each deal is built so it can be cleared, which means you can enjoy the game without worrying that you got stuck. There is no timer pressure on this page. You take your time, look for pairs, and let the star slowly open up. Many people find this quiet kind of matching very relaxing.
How to play
Mahjong solitaire is a game for one player. Remove matching pairs of free tiles until the layout is empty. A tile is free when nothing lies on top of it and its left or right side is open. Flowers match any flower, and seasons match any season. Every deal can be cleared. Here, tap a free tile, then tap its match. The pair disappears from the star. Keep going until no tiles are left.
Tips
Look at the edges of the star first, because those tiles are often free. Try to open up tiles that are covered, so more pairs become free. Use Hint when you are not sure what to try next. If no move is left, the one free Shuffle can help you start again.
