About this picture
A young elephant walks through a shallow pond on a cold, misty morning. Its grey skin looks wet and dark, and small drops of muddy water fly up around its feet and trunk. The elephant curls its trunk low, almost touching the water.
Behind the elephant, dry golden grass and bare brown bushes fill the background. Soft morning light falls from one side, and it makes the edges of the grass and the elephant's back glow. Fallen branches and pale, frosty ground lie near the water. The mood is quiet and calm, with a playful touch.
How to play
Choose how many pieces you want, then press Play. Drag a piece with your mouse or your finger. When it comes close to its neighbour, the two pieces click together.
Many players start with the edges: "Edges only" shows just the border pieces. "Preview" shows the whole picture, and "Ghost" puts a soft copy of it under the board. Your game saves by itself, so you can stop and come back later. There is no rush: take your time.
Tips
- Start with the golden grass and the bright edges of the elephant's back, which have clear colours.
- Next, work on the dark grey body of the elephant, grouping pieces by their soft shades.
- Finish with the blurry misty background, which has few sharp lines and is good for the last pieces.
