About this picture
A wooden board sits on a rustic table, covered with a cheese and fruit breakfast spread. There are two soft white cheeses, a wedge of hard yellow cheese, and small cubes of another cheese. Fresh figs, dark blackberries, pomegranate seeds, sliced pears, red and green grapes, and dried apricots add bright colour. Walnuts and pecans fill the gaps. Two small bowls hold golden honey and dark jam, and a sprig of rosemary rests on the board.
Behind the board, a window shows a snowy forest at sunrise. The sky glows pink and gold, and the snow looks soft and pale. On the right, a mug of hot drink sends up thin steam, and sliced bread rests on a grey cloth next to a butter knife. The light is warm and calm.
How to play
Choose how many pieces you want, then press Play. Drag a piece with your mouse or your finger. When it comes close to its neighbour, the two pieces click together.
Many players start with the edges: "Edges only" shows just the border pieces. "Preview" shows the whole picture, and "Ghost" puts a soft copy of it under the board. Your game saves by itself, so you can stop and come back later. There is no rush: take your time.
Tips
- Start with the pink and gold sunrise sky in the window, since its colours are easy to group.
- Work on the red pomegranate seeds and dark blackberries next, because their colours stand out.
- Find the sliced bread and grey cloth on the right to build the edge of the puzzle.
