About this picture
A long wooden dining table is set for a quiet evening meal. Many tall white candles are lit along the table, and small glass votives glow between them. Green pine branches and little pine cones run down the middle of a soft linen runner. Plates, white bowls, glasses and forks are set out for guests.
Outside the large window, snow covers the ground and bare trees stand in the cold light. Inside, the room is dark and warm. A lamp with a yellow shade sits on a wooden cabinet, and a fire glows at the edge of the room. Soft knitted blankets rest over some of the chairs, and a patterned rug lies under the table.
How to play
Choose how many pieces you want, then press Play. Drag a piece with your mouse or your finger. When it comes close to its neighbour, the two pieces click together.
Many players start with the edges: "Edges only" shows just the border pieces. "Preview" shows the whole picture, and "Ghost" puts a soft copy of it under the board. Your game saves by itself, so you can stop and come back later. There is no rush: take your time.
Tips
- Start with the bright candle flames and the warm yellow glow around them.
- Try the dark wooden table and the white plates as larger areas to build first.
- Work on the snowy window and the green pine branches in small groups.
