About this picture
This cozy kitchen has wooden beams on the ceiling and a warm glow from a pendant lamp. Five green plants hang from the beams in brown macramé holders. Some are pothos with heart-shaped leaves, some are ivy, and one is a fern with soft, feathery fronds. Their long vines fall down toward the wooden counter.
Outside the window, snow covers the ground and bare trees stand in the cold light. The glass has small frost spots. On the counter you can see a steaming mug, a stack of old books, and a few small herb pots. The warm amber light and the cool white snow make a nice mix of colours.
How to play
Choose how many pieces you want, then press Play. Drag a piece with your mouse or your finger. When it comes close to its neighbour, the two pieces click together.
Many players start with the edges: "Edges only" shows just the border pieces. "Preview" shows the whole picture, and "Ghost" puts a soft copy of it under the board. Your game saves by itself, so you can stop and come back later. There is no rush: take your time.
Tips
- Start with the bright warm light near the lamp and the wooden beams.
- Try the green plants first, since their many leaves have similar colours.
- Save the white snow outside the window for last, because its soft tones can be hard to tell apart.
