About this picture
A single palm tree stands tall in the middle of a wide desert. Its trunk is rough and brown, and its green leaves spread out at the top, some drooping down to the sand. Around the base, small clumps of grass and dry bushes grow in the sand.
Behind the tree, soft sand dunes roll away into the distance. Their ridges are curved and light tan, with fine lines shaped by the wind. The sky is pale grey and cloudy, and the soft light makes the whole scene feel calm and quiet.
How to play
Choose how many pieces you want, then press Play. Drag a piece with your mouse or your finger. When it comes close to its neighbour, the two pieces click together.
Many players start with the edges: "Edges only" shows just the border pieces. "Preview" shows the whole picture, and "Ghost" puts a soft copy of it under the board. Your game saves by itself, so you can stop and come back later. There is no rush: take your time.
Tips
- Start with the green palm leaves, since they are the strongest colour in the picture.
- Find the dark brown trunk and build it up from the bottom near the sand.
- Work on the pale grey sky at the top, where the pieces are mostly soft and even.
