About this picture
This picture shows rows of purple lavender in a field. The plants are full of small flower spikes, and their color ranges from soft lilac to deep violet. A thin path of frost runs between the rows, and it looks like a light dusting of snow.
The sky is pale pink, peach and yellow, as if the sun is just rising or setting. Mist sits low over the land, and in the distance there are bare trees and a line of darker trees on the right. The soft light makes the whole scene feel quiet and calm.
How to play
Choose how many pieces you want, then press Play. Drag a piece with your mouse or your finger. When it comes close to its neighbour, the two pieces click together.
Many players start with the edges: "Edges only" shows just the border pieces. "Preview" shows the whole picture, and "Ghost" puts a soft copy of it under the board. Your game saves by itself, so you can stop and come back later. There is no rush: take your time.
Tips
- Start with the pale sky at the top, since its pink and peach shades form larger, easy pieces.
- Next, sort the pieces with the brightest purple flowers in one pile and the grey-green leaves in another.
- Work on the frosty white path in the middle, and then fit the misty trees along the horizon.
