About this picture
This picture shows a pile of fresh rainbow carrots on a weathered wooden table. Some carrots rest in an old wooden crate, and others lie in front of it. The carrots come in many colours: orange, deep purple, pale yellow and cream. Their green leafy tops are still attached, and a few carrots have bits of soil on them.
The light is soft and golden. The sun is low behind the trees, and it glows through a wooden fence and tall grass in the background. A folded linen cloth sits under the carrots, and a small knife with a wooden handle rests on the right. It feels like a quiet summer evening in a garden.
How to play
Choose how many pieces you want, then press Play. Drag a piece with your mouse or your finger. When it comes close to its neighbour, the two pieces click together.
Many players start with the edges: "Edges only" shows just the border pieces. "Preview" shows the whole picture, and "Ghost" puts a soft copy of it under the board. Your game saves by itself, so you can stop and come back later. There is no rush: take your time.
Tips
- Start with the orange carrots, since they stand out clearly against the wood and the green leaves.
- Sort the pale yellow and cream pieces first, because their light colours are easy to group together.
- Look for the dark purple carrots and the green leafy tops, and build those areas as a set.
