About this picture
This picture shows an old globe on a wooden stand. The globe has a worn blue surface, with pale gold land shapes that show Africa and parts of Europe and the sea around them. Thin lines run across the globe, and a brass ring with small marks sits around it.
The globe sits on a rough wooden table next to a stack of old brown books, a small brass magnifying glass, and a pale cup. Soft grey blankets rest on two chairs. Behind the table, a window shows trees with orange and gold autumn leaves, and fallen leaves lie on the sill and the ground outside. The light is soft and calm.
How to play
Choose how many pieces you want, then press Play. Drag a piece with your mouse or your finger. When it comes close to its neighbour, the two pieces click together.
Many players start with the edges: "Edges only" shows just the border pieces. "Preview" shows the whole picture, and "Ghost" puts a soft copy of it under the board. Your game saves by itself, so you can stop and come back later. There is no rush: take your time.
Tips
- Start with the orange and gold trees outside the window, since their colours are easy to group.
- Find the brass ring and the wooden stand first, because their straight edges help you build the frame.
- Work on the blue globe in small areas, and save the grey blankets for last.
