About this picture
This picture shows a stack of old, yellowed maps resting on a worn wooden table. The maps are soft cream and tan, with faded lines and small marks. On top of them lies a brass magnifying glass with a wooden handle, and a small brass compass. Under the maps is a dark brown leather portfolio with buckled straps.
Behind the table, the background is blurred into warm autumn colours. Orange, gold and green leaves cover the ground, and a few dry leaves and acorns sit on the table. Soft sunlight shines through the trees. A grey folded blanket rests at the right edge. The mood is calm and cosy.
How to play
Choose how many pieces you want, then press Play. Drag a piece with your mouse or your finger. When it comes close to its neighbour, the two pieces click together.
Many players start with the edges: "Edges only" shows just the border pieces. "Preview" shows the whole picture, and "Ghost" puts a soft copy of it under the board. Your game saves by itself, so you can stop and come back later. There is no rush: take your time.
Tips
- Start with the bright orange and gold leaves in the blurred background, since they share similar colours.
- Look for the brass compass and magnifying glass, which have clear round shapes and metal tones.
- Begin with the edges of the wooden table and the dark leather straps, because their straight lines help you place pieces.
