About this picture
A group of pink flamingos stands in shallow water in the early morning. There are about twenty birds. Most of them face the same way, and their long necks curve in soft S shapes. Their feathers are pale pink, with darker pink on the wings. Their beaks are black at the tips.
The light is soft and warm. A pink and gold haze covers the sky and the land behind the water. The grass on the bank looks white with frost, and the tall brown reeds stand up through it. The water is calm, and it shows clear reflections of the birds in pink and gold.
How to play
Choose how many pieces you want, then press Play. Drag a piece with your mouse or your finger. When it comes close to its neighbour, the two pieces click together.
Many players start with the edges: "Edges only" shows just the border pieces. "Preview" shows the whole picture, and "Ghost" puts a soft copy of it under the board. Your game saves by itself, so you can stop and come back later. There is no rush: take your time.
Tips
- Start with the pink birds, since their colour stands out from the water and the grass.
- Use the black beak tips and the dark legs to find the edges of each flamingo.
- Build the calm water and soft sky in the top and middle parts last, because they have few sharp details.
