About this picture
A calm lake sits at the bottom of this picture. Its water is still, so it works like a mirror. The mirror shows snowy mountain peaks and the trees along the shore, all upside down. Above the lake, tall grey mountains have patches of white snow on their tops. Low clouds and a little mist hang around them.
The trees on both sides of the lake are full of autumn colours. You can see yellow, orange, red and deep green. Grey rocks with green moss stand near the water in the front. Tall brown grass and fallen leaves fill the ground. The light is soft and cool, so the whole scene feels quiet and peaceful.
How to play
Choose how many pieces you want, then press Play. Drag a piece with your mouse or your finger. When it comes close to its neighbour, the two pieces click together.
Many players start with the edges: "Edges only" shows just the border pieces. "Preview" shows the whole picture, and "Ghost" puts a soft copy of it under the board. Your game saves by itself, so you can stop and come back later. There is no rush: take your time.
Tips
- Start with the snowy mountains, since their white and grey parts are easy to spot.
- Sort out the warm yellow and orange trees in one group to build the autumn edges.
- Work on the lake reflection next, matching the blue-green water with the mirrored trees and peaks.
