About this picture
A river winds slowly through a green valley at sunrise. The water is pale and bright, with soft ripples and little white spots where it runs over stones. Both sides of the river are covered with thick moss. The moss looks yellow-green and golden where the light hits it. Small trees with thin branches grow along the edges, and some still have fresh spring leaves.
The sun is low and warm in the sky, hidden a little by soft clouds. Light falls across the hills, and a gentle mist rises in the valley. Far away, low hills look blue and grey. The whole scene feels calm, quiet and full of morning light.
How to play
Choose how many pieces you want, then press Play. Drag a piece with your mouse or your finger. When it comes close to its neighbour, the two pieces click together.
Many players start with the edges: "Edges only" shows just the border pieces. "Preview" shows the whole picture, and "Ghost" puts a soft copy of it under the board. Your game saves by itself, so you can stop and come back later. There is no rush: take your time.
Tips
- Start with the bright water in the middle, because its pale shine stands out from the green.
- Look for the dark rocks near the bottom and the lower corners to build the edges first.
- Group the golden moss and sky pieces together, since their warm colours are easy to match.
