About this picture
A rolled old map sits on a weathered wooden table. The paper is pale cream and tan, with soft folds and worn, torn edges. Faint brown lines and marks show on the paper, like lines of a map.
A red fabric ribbon is tied around the roll. Its frayed ends hang down over the wood. The light is warm and golden, coming from a low sun behind the scene. Blurred green grass, bushes and trees fill the background. A few dry leaves and blades of grass lie on the table. The picture feels calm and quiet, like an early evening outdoors.
How to play
Choose how many pieces you want, then press Play. Drag a piece with your mouse or your finger. When it comes close to its neighbour, the two pieces click together.
Many players start with the edges: "Edges only" shows just the border pieces. "Preview" shows the whole picture, and "Ghost" puts a soft copy of it under the board. Your game saves by itself, so you can stop and come back later. There is no rush: take your time.
Tips
- Start with the bright red ribbon, since it is the most striking colour in the picture.
- Work on the blurred green and gold background next, where pieces share soft, similar colours.
- Save the wood grain and the pale paper edges for last, because their lines can be hard to match.
