About this picture
This picture shows three puffins standing on a green grassy cliff. Puffins have black backs, white fronts and bright orange beaks and orange feet. The birds look out toward the sea. Small pink and white flowers grow among the grass along the edge of the cliff. Below them, the dark rocks meet blue-grey water with small white waves.
The light is soft and cool, with a pale grey sky over the sea. In the distance, another green cliff fades into the mist. A small dark bird sits near the bottom right corner. Many soft greens, pinks and blues make this a calm scene to piece together slowly.
How to play
Choose how many pieces you want, then press Play. Drag a piece with your mouse or your finger. When it comes close to its neighbour, the two pieces click together.
Many players start with the edges: "Edges only" shows just the border pieces. "Preview" shows the whole picture, and "Ghost" puts a soft copy of it under the board. Your game saves by itself, so you can stop and come back later. There is no rush: take your time.
Tips
- Start with the three puffins, since their bright orange beaks and feet stand out from the green grass.
- Find the pink and white flowers next, and group the pieces with those soft colours together.
- Build the blue sea and grey sky pieces in one area, then fit the dark rocks along the cliff edge.
